Last Show of Summer — Paoli
Hi friends,
I hope you are enjoying these last weeks of summer. There’s been a little crispness in the air lately, and I have mixed feelings about spotting the first hint of fall color on a tree yesterday. I’m not quite ready!
Paoli Art in the Park
But I am looking forward to next weekend at Paoli’s Art in the Park. The show runs next Saturday and Sunday, September 5th and 6th from 9am-4pm. It’s hard to miss since the Village is so tiny but the park is right across the street from the Paoli Road Mercantile. I’ll be near Paoli Road in booth 80.5
The Mill in Paoli
I adore Paoli for a little day trip, especially at the edge of a season. I didn’t discover it until maybe five years ago but it’s become one of my favorite slices of heaven in the Madison area.
Gather your pals and make a day of it. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation now at either Schoolhouse or Seven Acre Dairy for lunch or dinner.
The Mill is also a must— grab a bruski or cocktail, sit for a while, and enjoy the music. The weekend line-up:
Saturday, 9/5, 1–4pm: Acoustic Collective — feel-good music from the ’60s to present
Saturday, 9/5, 5–8pm: Alpha Romeos — classic funk & R&B
Sunday, 9/6, 10am–1pm: King Sies Fries — country / rock / Americana
Sunday, 9/6, 2–5pm: Dusty Road — Americana / folk / rock
Meadow Series
I’ll be bringing pieces from what will be my Meadow Collection, along with some new work that hasn’t made it onto my website yet.
This will be my last show of the season, and afterward I’m planning a website update and possibly a studio sale. Stay tuned!
Aside from the Art Fair, there are some small but mighty shops to enjoy along Paoli Road, a few favorites being: Paoli Art Shop, Lily’s, and Paoli Road Mercantile.

Last but not least, please do NOT forget to take off your shoes and dip your feet in the Sugar River. Your nervous system will thank you. This little dock is at Seven Acre Dairy by the sauna. It’s dreamy. Enjoy!
